My wife made fun of me during the early days of exploring the specialty coffee scene. She didn’t buy into the hype until I got her used to drinking the good stuff from a mail-order subscription.  She topped off her mug one day with that swill at work when it finally made sense for her.

It was an initial exposure to fresh roasted coffee that triggered my interest.  How could there be such a big difference between what you get at a grocery store and that found with a local roaster? There are some amazing coffees out there and it takes so little to mess them up.  You could have an amazing product and it can turn out just okay if not brewed with care.  Come with us to discover a whole new world.
